Social innovator

In September 2013 i started a social project with the target to rebuild the social bond inside a city, and so Social Street was born. This started as a sort of “experiment” creating a facebook group “residents in Via Fondazza – Bologna – Social street”. This approach based on non-reciprocal/non-obligatory socialising, to create a trust relationship amongst neighbours, an economy based on gifts and exchange, these are elements that have transformed Social Street in to a case study and now phenomenon thanks to the popularity and speed at which it has grown and spread throughout Italy and in the rest of the world. For this reason I am often invited to partecipate in public meetings, forums, Italy’s congress, round table discussions, any event really, where the agenda centres on sharing economy, smart cities and all possibile context where Social street is applicable.
